Smooth and Tasty coffee
After tying a few of Soprano's coffees I came back to Caramella for the last order. After most of my life as a Tea drinker because I can;t stand Instant Coffee, Grinding beans and learnign different home coffee makers, has been an intersting experience. Caramella has been my baseline, that I return to in between exploring the rest of Soprano Coffee's vriety of beans and excellent flavours . .

Caramella beans
This is now our bean of choice, as cappuccino drinkers we find this blend very smooth, love the caramel flavour with absolutely no bitterness, essentially the perfect coffee to start our day, highly recommended.

Carmello
We love these whole beans; they make fabulous coffee on our home machine. Delicious intense smooth flavour and beautiful thick crema. Fresh roasted and shipped with efficiency. We order just in time for the next kilo bag requirements and they always arrive right on time. A favourite blend.

Caramells in a Home Coffee Machine
I ordered 1kg of Soprano Caramella for use in a Breville Duo-Temp Pro home coffee machine after getting stale beans again from our local wholesale supplier. Soprano sent the beans form Sydney on the same afternoon that was stamped as the 'Roasted' date. They arrived 1500klm later, on the third day after roast date! Dialing in the grind on such fresh beans was a silly thing to do and the Breville Smart Grinder Pro had to go far finer than usual to slow the flow of coffee, resulting in less than optimal flavour for the first few cups. After a few more days though, and by experimenting with a smaller volume out, so as to get just a little more than a straight ristretto, the beans created a nice, very strong, but not bitter, espresso. Over the next week the flavour grew more intense, and although it was a little too 'strong' for some of my friends' tastes, it still wasn't bitter. As a base for cappuccino and latte in the home coffee machine, it filled out the flavour, rather than having the sort of bland taste of some other coffees. If you like your coffee with plenty of flavour, I recommend playing with the volume and time. My favourite for a short black was 18 into the Breville single wall double basket, and about 25ml out. My favourite for cappuccino is still 18g into the single wall double basket, and 36ml out, although 32 - 34ml is a little smoother in cappuccino or latte for guests who don't like their coffee strong. My next order was the Mocha' blend, and it also arrived 3 days after roast date. I'm letting it sit for a few days before I test it in the Breville :-) Thank you Soprano, and Aramex, for the fast, reliable service.

Fantastic Coffee Beans, had them first at a local Cafe and now ordering them at home because I loved the flavours so much! Nothing better than a home-made morning Latte!

Caramella
I enjoy my coffee as a long black, specifically a double shot of espresso on 3/4 mug of hot water. I've tried many beans from many roasters and can't find any as good for this type of coffee as the Caramella. Admittedly taste is very subjective thing but I find that this blend is, to me at least, full bodied with a lovely crema and a dark chocolate finish. ( 21.5g 30-32sec extraction from a Sunbeam EM7100 )
